The Drexel University College of Medicine is the modern manifestation of two venerable medical schools, Hahnemann Medical College and Woman’s Medical College of Pennsylvania, which were established in 1848 and 1850. It has the largest medical student enrollment of any private medical-school in the nation. Colleges are under increasing pressure to preserve resources, so cost saving is critical to preserving their ongoing missions. And, in a fast-paced environment, speed of response often is critical.
M&P responded to both of those imperatives in the design and production of this identity brochure for the College. From idea to printed pieces, the project was completed in 24 days—six of them weekend days. Its beauty and utility are not diminished by cost-savings engineered behind the scenes, such as using stock dies and photography and extending its shelf life with a pocket to hold changing information.
