Report Format for In-House Design and Production
We recently worked with the Research Alliance for New York City Schools to create a forward-thinking, cost-efficient publication template for a specific kind of report. The aim was to create a professional-looking document within an extremely tight budget. They chose to invest more up front and have a template built in Microsoft Word so that future publications could be produced in-house. Working within the graphic and production limitations of Microsoft Word while also making the template easy to use for the client was our challenge. Our efforts hit the mark. Research Alliance was happy with the way the publication looks, and also delighted to be able to continue producing pieces that look polished and professional without paying more each time. The ability to make small, last-minute changes in-house is also key, and makes the whole process of getting a publication finished and out the door more efficient (and less stressful).
