In sharing horticulturist Joel Karsten’s journey to become a published author, we found a way to combine two of our passions: design and gardening. Tapping personal knowledge of the source material as well as expertise in publication design, M&P first worked with Karsten to design the cover for his self-published Straw Bale Gardening paperback. To further expand readership, M&P next helped Karsten turn Straw Bale Gardening into an e-book by preparing formats for Sony, Apple, Nook and Kindle e-readers and tablets.
