In 1752, Benjamin Franklin and his fellow firefighters founded The Philadelphia Contributionship, the nation’s oldest property insurance company. While the Contributionship has grown with the times, its visual identity had not. M&P led a reinvention that respects the company’s history while communicating what it is today: modern, sophisticated and focused on urban markets. By combining an up-to-date color palette and design sensibility with visuals drawn from the company’s 261-year-old archives, The Philadelphia Contributionship’s graphic identity speaks to the company’s history and its future. M&P continues to expand and adapt the identity to new requirements.
