Penelope is an award-winning graphic designer who has created successful branding, identity, website and publication design solutions for more than 25 years.
She is also an educator, and she taught Graphic Design and Print Production at the University of the Arts, her alma mater.
Penelope is an internationally consulted expert on print production, and she designed the program used to test the printability of uncoated paper before it is released to market for James River Paper.
Early in her career, she worked for both the Philadelphia Office of Housing & Community Development and for community-activist architect Gray Smith. For her, these experiences underscored the importance of graphic design in communication and advocacy, and they also instilled in her a commitment to not-for-profit organizations.
That early-career experience informs Malish & Pagonis’s current work. Designing for architecture firms and other professionals in the built-environment industry continues to be one of the firm’s specialties.
Penelope is passionate about horticulture, landscape design, and beekeeping.
